Hey there,
Everyone please pray for safe travel for Steve tomorrow (Friday the 25th) and Tuesday (the 29th). He is going to see his dad with his brother Eric. They are taking their dad to see his brother who has terminal cancer. I told Steve if he dies I am going to kill him. LOL Ain't I optimistic? The kids and I are going to South Bend late on Saturday until Monday afternoon. Pray that we not drive Dad insane. LOL

I exercised 4 days in a row--today was the best day of all---I took Leah sledding on "big hill" in our back yard--We had a ball with David and his buddy Dallas--we sledded and watched a beautiful sunset. Leah was trying to clap her hands in her oversized snowsuit and looked like a seal. It was pure joy.
The only bad thing about exercising is that it kicks in my appetite. I tend to eat more and don't lose any weight. :) Love, Ruth

The thing about working out and then needing to eat. It is Ok to eat some of the calories as long as you are not overeating your daily intake of food and your calories that you are burning. It defeats the purpose. Yesterday,I ate 30 points. I have 27 daily points (1350 calories)and I ate 3 of the 5 activity points I earned working out. Most days I eat all my points and dont eat my activity points. So I had 2 points leftover yesterday. I, also,have 35 flex points to use whenever I want all week and I have only used 6 this week and it is Thursday. That is low. I like to use them. But that is why my losses are smaller. I would be losing faster if I would eat less,but I dont want to have to live off lettuce when I get to my goal weight. I am such the numbers person LOL
