Dear All:
I have not been very good lately. Had the Mom's Night Out for the home schooling moms here last night. Had a lot of yummy (fatty) appetizers and beer margaritas. Have not weighed myself. Don't want to. We are heading to Mackinac Island with mom on Thursday morning this week--am hoping to jumpstart my exercise routine there---we will have to bike or walk wherever we go-there is a pool in the neighborhood and free golf after 4 :30 in the afternoon every day-the whole thing will be AWESOME! Mom is going to have a scooter to ride when we go into town--it is 2 miles into town from their house on the hill. We will have a view of the Mackinac Bridge from the house. 1.5% weight loss so far for me. Penny bounced up and down and is at her starting weight. I'm drinking lots of water and I've been very active this last week. When Ruth was here, we went to the pool and treaded water. We had a ball with her and the kids! Wish that was everyday.

Also, I weeded the other day and it took me forever, so it was quite a workout.

Love you guys! Keep on pushing. I've not heard from the rest of the family about how they are doing.

I went for a long bike ride today. I am not sure how many miles and then I took the kids to the pool and did alot of treading water while we played frizbee. It was fun but I am really tired! Leah didn't have a nap today so hopefully she will go to bed early tonight. I am looking forward to weighing in on Monday even though I don't think I have lost anything. I am going to try to turn over a new leaf. Love you all! Ruth

As I said in email, I had a maintain for last week. I did sneak on the scale today and saw I was up .8 so far for this week. I need to get my act together and lose that and some more this week. So much going on here. Overwhelmed for sure. Love, jojo
I have to get myself in the groove of weighing in on Mondays. We are going to Mackinac Island from August 27th to September 1st. The house that we are staying at has bikes and bike trailers so I can take Leah with me when I exercise in the mornings. I am looking forward to getting away and walking wherever we need to go. We are renting a scooter for mom so she doesn't have to walk long distances.

Since Leah learned how to climb out of her crib in the mornings I haven't been able to walk like I used to---now I have to wait and walk with her--which is distracting and I don't get as good of a work out. I need to get my kids to join me in getting our whole family healthy.

I still haven't weighed myself this week--went to the Indiana State Fair for a concert for Mary Rose's 14th birthday on Monday. Was really fun but I am sure those fried cheddar balls are sticking to my hips. LOL

Weighed in Monday and recorded the amazing 1-week results.

Loss so far = .5% of my starting weight. JoJo, do you want to do the math and let everyone know how much weight I lost? hahahaha

I weighed in this morning and I am ready to get started. I need to make some changes around here for sure. About 3 weeks ago, I just stopped drinking coffee. One would think that would be a good thing, but really there wasnt many calories in the coffee I drink as I drank it with FF cream and only had one cup a day, sometimes less. What did I start drinking in its place, sweet tea. Lots of sugar and calories. Plus, I havent been drinking any water in addition to the tea. SO I need to start drinking water and rethink the sweet tea.
I made my Weight Watchers chili last week so I know what I am having for lunch. It is Monday and we are going to Pizza Inn (buffet salad and pizza bar) for dinner as we do this every Monday after Matthew's rollerhockey game. We have been doing this with our neighbors, another family and other families that will randomly join us for about 6 months or more. I will watch what I eat tonight.
I am ready and glad that others are wanting to get moving and losing, too. Love, JoJo
WOW, I was reading my posts from last year. A year ago Sept 2008, I was down 35 pounds. As of the last time I got on the scale (the other day), I am only down 10 pounds from when I restarted WWs. So tomorrow really is my restart day. Time to get to goal and stay at goal. Jo
