Just finished 30 minutes on the treadmill. Feel blah, glad I got it in. Today Jackie found out she has more cancer. I spoke with her on the computer before my workout. She is very overwhelmed (her words) and is of course feeling like it is not fair. What else would you think if you were 15 years old. It is hard for her to make sense of it. They will head to Duke tomorrow to get more information and they are contacting MD Anderson and Sloan Kettering for consults. I am very sad today. Long day, ready for bed. Night all. Love, JoJo

Sorry to hear about Jackie. Stay upbeat. I think everyone has a different cross to bear and Jackie's is just harder to comprehend. But I'm sure she's touched more lives through her suffering than most people do in their good health.
There's a lot of grief with Jackie I'm sure, but an eternal perspective helps. I think about how pure Gabrielle is and how lucky we are to be able to care for her.
It's a lot different when looked at from that perspective. Don't know if that helps, but I'll continue to pray for her complete recovery and an end to your sadness.
